The great people around us...

We are constantly surrounded by beautiful, creative, loved, and lost people. Their smiles and looks are heartbreaking on one hand, and yet so very beautiful on the other, considering they are fashioned in the image of their Maker.

The children stare and can't believe the white skin. Older people are sometimes the same way. We feel completely blessed when we can push past their expectations and see a simple smile.

These are some of the people we've met or encountered since we arrived in this dusty, minority-rich city. When you think of our "neighbors", these are the people to lift up.
