Knowing how people overseas can crave words from old friends, they sent Christmas cards and wrote wonderful letters. I spent most of the first minutes after opening the box just reading those words of encouragement!
They also sent soup mixes (We already used the beef stew packet - delicious!), other food items, Christmas goodies, candies, and a White Elephant present that we are still puzzling over. Whom do we have to thank for all those facts about old-time baseball?
We are so grateful for your thinking of us. Whether you sent a package, wrote an email, commented on the blog, or not, we are acutely aware that we are loved and that you are thinking about us! Thank you, friends!
