A dear colleague of ours (well, actually an ex-colleague - he retired last year from the Foreign Affairs Office, and would have been our closest contact at our school) is a dedicated admirer and collector of the United States "state" quarters and lacks just three from his collection.
He humbly asked whether we could help him. We said we would certainly look for him when we travel to MN this summer, but we could use a few more eyes.
Has anyone seen the Utah, Hawaii and/or Alaska quarters and could you hold onto it for us? We'd be willing to trade another state's quarter in exchange just to make Mr. Li smile :)
Don't have too much happy hunting before we cross the pond and can join in! We'd love to look through your coin jar with your kids to see if there just might be a few in there!
