Last Friday, as a thank you for taking video and pictures at their wedding, our two recently wed friends (see post below) invited us out to dinner with the best man, maid of honor, and some other friends.
We went to a place for Hot Pot: see pics to get the full idea. The restaurant was called the Small Fat Cow once translated. We arrived at 6:45 and stayed till 10:30: it must have been fun!

With hot pot, you share a pot of boiling broth or in this case everyone gets their own boiling pot. Then you order meat and veggies, which you boil for a bit in your pot. Then you pull the goods out, dip it in a customizable sauce (in my case, some soy and chili sauce), and chow down. Yumm yummm

This had to be one of the best meals I have had in China yet.

Those videos were completely terrific! Especially the lazy susan one...what a great idea! You look thin, by the way. Eat more hot pot.
