Yes, it seems as if we fell off the earth for the last month... but we just had the blessings of time off and some travel. And we finally got to see some of the local sites, like the Terracotta Warriors of Emperor Qin and Tiger Leaping Gorge, what Mike likens to the Grand Canyon, China-style.
We are so excited to share some stories from our travels - and yes, the rest of our time away was filled with blessings just as our Hong Kong trip was from our last posts. We hope to get to posting regularly again as we start up the rest of our "normal" life.
Classes officially begin tomorrow morning - which will have Mike teaches sophomores and seniors, and Amanda will teach lil' freshmen and sophomores. All of the students we will have had before, either last year or last semester, save Mike's seniors. He is really excited to meet them and see where the semester will go with these who are about to embark on the big world.
We will check back in later, to tell you how the year is beginning and what are our hopes and plans for the coming semester :)
