Amanda's Update

We know that many of you also receive our email updates, but some are just too tech-saavy to not read the blog first!

I (Amanda) have had a small growth under my tongue for about two weeks or so. To make a long story short, I talked with several doctors who think it might be a stone (similar to a calcium kidney stone) or a cyst in one of my salivary glands.

So, after some consideration and upward thoughts, we have decided to go to visit an ENT specialist in Hong Kong, flying out today to be seen tomorrow afternoon. We are counting many blessings - from getting an appointment on short notice to a friend of a friend who will let us stay at her apartment for a night - so please rejoice with us and praise Him!

We could also use your thoughts as we travel, leaving earlier than we expected - so we were in a bit of a whirlwind with packing and cleaning and talking with doctors in other cities. Please think of us on Friday afternoon as we see the doctor and find out what might be going on.

At this point, we are trusting Him to keep us peaceful and grounded even in the midst of uncertainty, a new and big city, and unexpected travel.

We will try to send out an email update as soon as we know anything, and we will try to blog as soon as we have access again :)

With much love and expectant hope,
M+A
