So, we mistakenly thought that being around you within a 50 mile radius would satisfy. Guess not since so many have told us to UPDATE THE BLOG!
Okay!
We arrived in Minnesota (and stared at the beauty of Minnesota blue skies and green fields... such beauty) at the end of June and spent part of the first week with Team Hanson in Rochester, seeing Grandma, going fishing, and generally just enjoying missed company. Then we spent the following week in the cities area, seeing the beloved Keller group and catching up with great old friends from First Free.
We had the intense pleasure of seeing friends and sharing stories with several ACTS communities and others at First Free, which was great since they are some of our biggest and most faithful supporters and readers of the blog!
We then spent a few days at our dear friends' cabin with Amanda's parents, just soaking up the relaxing time, reading a bit, screaming on the motor scooter, and having great conversation. Follow that cabin trip was the annual Keller family cabin week - full of water sports, fishing, reading, eating, biking and more biking, and game time - what a great recipe for family fun!
Wow, we've got about three weeks left... and while we aren't yet frantic, we are deliberately purposeful with our time. Time with dear friends and supporters, catching up on emails to friends and students in LZ, sorting and packing, and spending quality time with family and each other.
We've still got in mind a get-together with First Free friends, we're psyched for Sam's wedding in August (where we'll reconnect with lots of cousins and family that haven't been seen in years!), and we're excited for all that will happen in between.
Mike and I couldn't imagine not seeing your bright faces in the next few weeks, so keep your eyes peeled and so will we. So much time is left... can you help us fill it? :)
With much love, abundant joy and intense thankfulness for you, friends...
