We are in the midst of craziness: solid days of classes, followed by nights of lots of homework... and we are one day away from our Micro Teaching, a fancy word for practicing a lesson plan in front of the whole class for critique and feedback. We need lots of thoughts so we can plan well, sleep well through the nerves, and present well on Friday afternoon sometime. Yikes! We are excited to be wrapping up though!
Next steps (after we get through Friday!): We have some rest time and packing time we hope to use well -- to also spend time with some new friends we have come to love and cherish. We are truly dreading having to leave them! We leave Tuesday, 9/23, in the very early morning. Long bus ride to airport, 7 am flight to Beijing, arrive Wednesday in the afternoon, spend the night somewhere, then a flight to our city! Please think of us often!
My alternating exclamations are: WOO! and followed immediately by ARE YOU KIDDING?! Know what I mean? :)
