Well, February is winding down -- and was filled with some sickness for both Mike and Amanda, lots of busy-ness with work -- and broomball, teaching skiing, Book study, and seeing friends and family -- so we are now enjoying the relative peacefulness of late February.
We are excitedly anticipating a family vacation with the Hansons IN JUST 5 DAYS on a cruise to the eastern Caribbean. We can't wait to spend time with our loved ones in 80 degree weather and SUN! What a joy and gift to be able to travel and spend a whole week just reveling in the presence of family. Dad, Mom, Sam, Sam's bf Scott, Mike, and I -- and fun in the sun. What could be better?!
As many know, we are in the midst of applying for teaching positions in China and continuing to ponder about the opportunity to serve and teach English at a Chinese university. Keep us in your thoughts as we have interviews, more tests, and hear whether we are accepted... and we hope all this will happen within the next few weeks!
There are so many more things to update, but my long work to-do list is calling (as is my tummy for breakfast)... so I'd better run. I hope to update much sooner next time... with some great news about what the Father is planning for us!
