You may remember this from Amanda's last blog...
It's making a reappearance on this one to remind you that, yes, we did have *this much* fun on our honeymoon in December. We are still having this much fun 10 months later!
We are recovering this week from our whirlwind trip to Alaska last week -- 6 days of pristine beauty in the Last Frontier with 30 kids who live in Alaska with their servant parents. Kids are kids wherever they live, so they were full of fun and energy... we definitely caught the fever most days, but we definitely were drained as well! Think often of these kids, that they would remain strong in what they believe when they face opposition, danger and loneliness. They are amazing examples of sacrifice in this life for a crown in the next, of friendless-ness in the villages but of dependence on their Friend, of utter joy in living each day in whatever circumstances they are given. Remember them!
We hope to post some pictures for you to see -- when Amanda gets them all figured out -- and we hope to share them in person when possible. Keep your eyes peeled!
I, Amanda, am in the first week of my new position. I will be getting an official email, new real-sized cubicle, updated computer, and other perks... like a free turkey at Thanksgiving! I've liked the change so far: the work goes quicker since it is smaller chunks, and the days seem longer... so maybe I will get more done! All in all, the first week has been fun.
That's all for now, you fans of Team Keller. We'll be sure to check in periodically to keep you updated! :) Peace and love...
