Few weeks back we decided to go for a little fun. Where you ask did we decide to go. Well what else would someone from Minnesota do who is missing the snow and ice. We went ICE SKATING!! I invited our two little friends Bethany and Sarah since last time we went they couldn't go cause they were sick. Amy and Amanda H. each invited a student who of course had never been skating before (p.s. neither has Amanda H. she is from Texas so ya can't really blame her). Amanda's student actually turned out to be able to get around, Amy's student on the other hand couldn't move unless she was on my arm or Amy's arm (Amy is from the Northeast where they have ice). I couldn't escape Sarah who loved to go fast but was scared to death to go alone. It was a blast but it made me miss the fringed snow and ice of Minnesota. So please when you all go skiing, sleading, make a snowman, play broomball, or go ice skating please remember those of us out in the desert with no moisture and cherish the moment.
Yes those are figure skates I have on it is all they had that would fit my American feet. I am not exactly Chinese size.

When we're out shoveling the 8-12 inches of snow starting tomorrow we will think about you and wish you were here to help us.
